  My wife and I were 1000 miles from home and experiencing severe brake problems on the Gaspe Peninsula with our Honda CR-V. I called a local Honda dealer in Matane, as that was the closest town with a Honda dealership that we would be passing through. They couldn't take us for service for 5 days, obviously not possible for us while just traveling through while on vacation. The service manager suggested Denis as knowledgeable and experienced with Hondas. I called him, explained our problem, and he was able to take me 2 days later at 1:00 p.m. when we would be passing through Matane. His speaking English was also a huge help to us. We found Denis to be cheerful, knowledgeable and helpful. The mechanic, his son, began working on our car at precisely 1:00 p.m. Denis showed us the damaged brake parts and gave us his recommendation and price. While not cheap, we of course needed safe brakes to continue our trip. Two hours later the mechanic test drove our car and we were on our way. The brakes work perfectly now and our vacation was saved. I highly recommend Denis and his garage and mechanics, in our case his son. Merci beaucoup Denis!
